For me being Smart means being effective and efficient. There should be a web based Portal or App centrally connected with social platforms like WhatsApp and facebook.where users can get appointment for doctors in sarkari hospital, files complaint against traffic violations, paying various bills, tourism, filing online complaint with nagar nigam, etc. A central app is must.else we have best infrastructure, cheap public transport and everything in this city of Nawabs.

1. Traffic Signal should be installed at every crossing and public should follow, traffic rules and on not doing so, one should be penalized by traffic police on the spot.
2. Zebra Crossing is for pedestrians, drivers should avoid stooping their vehicle on zebra crossing, on doing so they should be punished.
3. Stray animals,i.e cows, bulls etc roaming on roads should be taken care of and should be shifted to animal shelter homes and people who leave their animals on road shuld be punished.

Lucknow should leverage technology to overcome its waste disposal problem - in around 98% colonies sewer lines are connected with drains. It needs a centralised automated system for waste management wherein waste is picked up from the doorstep of all households and industries, collected at a central location, and then treated, recylced or disposed as the case may be. This will reduce inappropriate waste disposal by the citizens and will also bring down wastage.
