For the draft Lucknow Smart City Proposal the citizen feedbacks received were analysed and based on which a citizen centric plan was formulated. As part of citizen engagement & consultation process, Lucknow Municipal Corporation arranged a wide range of activities in different platforms to enable contribution of citizens- eg: zone wise consultation, essay competition, vision statement competition, twitter, facebook, online google forms, MyGov. Polls and discussion etc. based on the suggestions received vision, goals and the projects were identified.

The main suggestion is to let this suggestion box open for ever, the discussion should be regular as the ideas come after seeing the implementations of the governtmant officials. Previously i have suggested the U P Governtment to make a committee of private people without charging any thing to off the switches of street lites so the Electricity can be saved, but nothing was done. For water supply and sanitation problems a permanent committee should be made for suggestions with sabhasads.

1-All the overhead electricity lines & all sorts of communication cables must be laid underground. 2-Citizens must be taught not to honk at least when traffic signal is RED. 3-We all are very particular in keeping our houses clean & tidy but we ignore the cleanliness of our surroundings. This behaviour must be changed.

1.More tree plantation should be done in the city. 2.Sanitation, including solid waste managemant. 3.Clean and Pure Drinking Water. 4.Rain Water Harvesting. 5.Good Governance. 6.Safe and Secure Environment for Women and Childrens. 7.Green Belt along with broader roads. 8.Public Utilities and Washrooms. 9. Strict rules for cleanliness of city.

1. Deployment of security guards outside the school as well as during morning and afternoon hours to prevent accidents. 2. Special protection for old age people who are living alone in the city. 3. Traffic lights of the city should be fully functional. 4. No vehicle zone or green zone should be created in the city. 5. All the electrical wires should be underground. 6. Uniformity in the parking rates across the city. 7. Special arrangements should be done for disable people for mobilty.

the aganbari workers and people appointed for monitoring the construction work of toilets should be paid regularly and on time this will reduce chances of corruption in city bus station registration of buses should be done properly

i.e.1. crossing and road should be free from encroachment 2.govt office should be on ring road as well as circular road of city 3.without helmet two-wheeler should not be filling petrol at petrol pump 4. traffic engineering should be involved in traffic by the public work department as well as traffic police for minimize the accident 5. tempo and auto rikshaw driver should be teached by a ngo for their rough driving 6.vvip system should be strictly restricted for common places like market,

We can make our Lucknow a smart city only when we plan for clean and green lucknow.Safety comes first if we talk about smart city, so proper safety arrangements should be ensured. Hospital facilities should be improved especially in rural areas. Latest technologies should be used at the work places. Means of transport should be improved like Metro facility should be provided. This will save time and natural resources.Unemployment is the biggest problem,it should be taken into consideration.

we should create awareness by presenting an act in front of public because i think that it is human nature of taking pics of banners or posters. raise the topics like disadvantages of roadside garbbage,dirty water illiteracy no awareness etc.motivate people by telling your experiances because if we can do then they can also do it.so step ahead and start now.
