Dear PM, With the enactment of MS Act 2013 , and the recent initiative of Swach Bharat, I think the Govt. must immediately ensure that the Indian Railways stops its current practice of flushing excreta on the tracks. It is unhygienic and can spread diseases. Above all isn't it inhumane to make others i.e the manual scavengers to clean one's excreta? Sir, I request you to take immediate action to stop this inhumane practice. Jai Hind.

Lack of technology, littering habits of the people, lack of concern among the masses and ignorance are the main constraints in eliminating manual scavenging in our country.

Hon'ble P.M. Please improve the position of the Indian Railway which is very important for this Country. May improve the timining of the railway. Because almost of the trains in our country is not runing timely and no authority of the railway give their attation towards this problem. In every railway budget the new trains are to be announced by the railway minister but no minister give their attention for the solutoin of this problem. Kindly make railway as like westran countries please.

this trend needs to be abolished. we need to find more modern methods. we have to get self respect in them by educating them, skill development and making them addiction free..The difficulty in doing so are multiple 1 they consider themselves low .2 upper class and caste not ready to accept them as equal.3 they find job secure for their caste 4 lack of education 5 lack of other skill 6 resistance by jamidars in their development..the superiority complex makes them crude inhuman.

Lack of knowledge about cleanliness and personal and community hygiene. 2.Poverty.Due to poverty, people cannot afford regular toilets and are forced to go . 3. continuing prevalance of caste system, where the deprived are forced to do the job of manual scavenging. 4.Lack of water to flush the excreta. 5. Lack of sewerage system 6.absence of will power to fight and eliminate manual scavenging. 7. formulation and implementation of tough laws to prevent manual scaveng.

To keep our urban areas clean the basic need of providing dust bins where the public can throw trash is missing. Where ever such dust bins are provided they are not cleaned by the authorised persons in time with the result that such places become more nuisance. The MC of the city should provide large number of dust bins after every 10-15 meters and clear them frequently. Its true that 70 to 80 % people do not want to litter the city but in the absence of facility they feel helpless.

Patriotism Awareness: It should start from root level, If you take an example: in USA and other countries: every school including elementary, the day begins by making students to hoist the flag with pride and in the evening they take down and fold it with respect, that gives them to learn value of freedom and democracy. In my opinion every school including private and government in India should mandate this task to raise the patriotism. I hope our PM will look in to this. Thank you.
