Welcome e-transactions! It will ensure more transparency and enhanced tax collection for my Gov. People with black money will find it difficult to hide their purchase. Both Central & State govts will benefit; so will honest people if they get rebate. CESC is paying 1% for online payment. I have been long advocating for cashless transactions. As revenues go up, My Gov can invest in development projects. Demand for bribe, extortion, and "chai-pani" will be eliminated.

Ecrimes are growing at faster rates and even me too is victim of ewallet hacking (without resolution) so the pace people will go to this idea will also make money of Indians unsafe and people shunning away from these initiatives! Govt must have stringent wing to curb these fraudesters so as to make really feel the benifit of project.
Rupay is good idea but try applying practically with banks (tried at loyal, icici and sbi too but they really shun and application doesn't have options!

Dear Sir,
First, I appreciate the Indian government has taken this step to curb black money.
The additional charges which levied while making payment through card are vary from 1.5 % to 3.5 % and there is no fixed guidelines for the same. Vendor charged according to their will. If it can be systematically planned (either waive off or some tax returns etc) then no body will prefer cash transaction.

4. in any case, if "report from bank" is must then let the limit be corresponding to the card holder " tax bracket" or the highest salary drawn by a gov servant.

3.people are afraid of being reported even honest tax payers..n reasons are well know to finance ministry. rather prudent idea would be let people do e transaction as much as they wish n only after some suspicion/doubt arises based on certain parameters eg reports/inquires/facts etc only than "report" from bank is needed after all the goal is already achieved by making all transaction " transparent n traceable!"

the problems i see in the suggested draft-1.While incentivization of electronic is good idea but disincentivization of cash based transactions in terms of a levy no matter how nominal it is as cash handling charge would be a blunder n unpopular. How one can be charged simply coz one is using national currency in transaction?? 2.any sort of reporting by bank for e-transaction is contradictory to the very goal n objective of the bill. n present limit of 2 lac in a year is ridiculous.

Dear Sir
This will be a good idea if the extra charges that we are paying to pay thru card are removed else this will not do any good and people will continue to pay by cash only. IF these extra charges are removed and then some sops are given then this is definitely a move in the right direction.

Dear Sir,
This is very good idea towards curbing black money from our nation. I believe this can go long way in controlling black money and at the same time will encourage common people to do more transaction on-line.
Very good proposal and should be adopted
