It is a very good idea & would save paper, expedite payments & cut down unaccounted money in circulation. Since cash payments in trade fetch a discount of 2% plus tax-avoidance, therefore the least that can be done is to offer a similar discount to persons making payment electronically & dis-incentivize cash payments through a surcharge on them. Use Post & telegraph offices, Metro/Rail stations, Banks/Public buildings to set up kiosks where payments for all govt services & utilities can be made

Strong & powerful with high speed and capacity server, network, portal should be developed so that, minimum error or complain of slow server can be avoided, now, e.i., taxation server are so many times hanged or shows error, If the electronics transaction want to encourage and enhenced, the infrastructure development is essential for accuracy, speed and satisfactory transactions by electronics media. I suggest that at initial stage some catagory should be involved under e.payment.

Sir Why not withdraw currency note of Rs 1000/500? for any given day, day to day cash needed per family can be good with 100 or less currency notes, any higher transaction will be facilitated with e transaction, which leads better tax collection and curb domestic block money, fake currency and money power in election, simple but more effective

1. First govt has to make it mandatory for all employees LTC, tour TA etc must be paid ECS only. Now mostly it is paid through cash 2.even for booking railway tickets bank are charging 10 to 30 rupees that should be waived.

Good idea. But most of the merchants (like jewellery, electronics) charge 2% extra while doing payments through credit or debit cards. Also online sites (like electricity, insurance, railways, city corporation) charge extra amount while payment is done through cards. These can be eliminated, so cards usage for payment will be increased.

Businessmen in cities like Delhi do not have bank accounts operating on "cash only" basis. Maintaining bank accounts must be made mandatory for annual turnover over say, Rs 2,5 lakh p.m. 2. All Central and State Govts. should not charge service or convenience fee by whatever name. Utilities must consider a discount for electronic payments including internet banking. 3. India-wide campaign for public at large not to share passwords and PIN with anyone. 4. Ceiling for cash txn be Rs 5 lakh.
