It may not be right forum. But i didnt find any discussion I can post it in. India should check if we can use white coal in thermal power plants. This will not only create tremendous potential employment opportunities. India has more than 750 MMT of renewable agri waste. If it can produce at least 100 MMT white coal lot of foreign exchange can be saved.

#EnergyConservation We can avoid usage of air conditioner, air cooler & fan by using windows. It must be started from government building first.

this is a method with which we can develop our infrastructure faster without playing with the nature. Trees can be transplanted easily.

Atmosphere is a huge reservoir of water. In coastal cities like Mumbai or Chennai, a typical AC condenses close to 20 gallons of water per day out of thin air. Why don't we make A/C water harvesting mandatory for all residential societies and commercial establishments. When farmers are committing suicide for the want of water, A/C condensate going down the drain is a sin. Read here http://www.rwlwater.com/water-harvesting-from-ac-units/

Respected Sir,
In India we are not using smart meters in our Electricity department. A smart meter can be developed which is connected with your mobile through internet and you can know that what equipment is ON by mistake. and people can off this equipment through mobile. Some type of sensor are in market which can be used in home. when we are in room the light and fan is on and when no one is room etc than equipment will automatically off. Govt can encourage it by subsidy

A decade or so back people were mostly using hand kerchiefs after washing hands, face etc. Nowadays especially in big companies people use only paper napkins. If we combine all offices across a state or UT the amount of paper and the amount of energy spent to create it is extremely huge. Why cant we get back to using hand kerchiefs? What is wrong with it?

I believe in technology here. Sensor should be developed so that if any electronic device is not in use. It should automatically turn off to sleep mode. Street light should be made sensitive to natural light. As Natural light go down, it should turn on & vice-versa. However, Humans should also be made aware of the issue in a way that use energy resources rationally.

According to World Bank Report the Delhi is the most polluted city in the world. In top ten polluted cities there are 6 cities from India. We have to stop the pollution. Firstly we have to reduce the use of vehicles. Everyday we see in roads there is huge traffic. I have one solution for the reducing pollution: "WE HAVE TO MAKE WEEKEND AS A CYCLING DAY."
In the weekend everyone is relaxed so dont use vehicles please use cycles.

Sir I have an idea to control pollution.
Sir if someone found driving a vehicle having not dine his or her pollution check Or his vehicle is spreading high pollution than he should be fined by the amount in which vehicle will be corrected and give him a receipt showing that amount.
now goverment should establish his own service centres in each city where the vehicles is repaired and took that receipt from them. In this way vehicles in india remain in good condition and emit less gases.
