As the major Users of power, corporate and industries must take initiatives in-order to save a huge amount of resources. If not initiatives the government must impose certain simple ideas that will go a long way, if whole corporate World follows such as
1. Compulsory car pooling
2.Hibernation of systems during non-business hours
3.Encouraging usage of stairs for climbing up to 2 floors
4.Incentives and prizes for maximum power saving offices
5.Educating about benefits of power saving

As engineer I will suggest use of sensors will help the country to save the electricity. You can add simply brightness sensors with the electricity polls. It will cost hardly some.It will save energy upto 20-30%.As generally lights are on in daytime as well.

SIR ,
As a student of electrical engineering and most probably as a citizen of india it is my right and duty to save water .. so here i concentrated on how do we regularly wasting water by using western toilets, mostly in our country.so here is an effective model which is used in most of the developed countries which is" handwash cum flush".if we adopt this model in our country we can save lacks of gallons of water in an effective manner. please make a decision over this issue .image as follows

sir ,
At present i am in the final year of my b.tech in electrical and electronics engineering. what's my view regarding this power usage is.. we have to implement a recharge based power supply same as like mobile recharge.. this is the technique that which makes one individual to use up to what he can bear the amount, and no further wastage ,he will use power according to his utilities. There is a lot of information with me regarding this new technique.please give me a chance to share my view

Sir,
As an electrical student I know that saving of one unit of power is equal to generation of 3 units. So, I want to suggest you to implement energy saving scheme like distribution of led bulbs to domestic consumers we can save lot of energy and this scheme is implemented by govt of andhra Pradesh and we need to reduce transmission loss by upgrading them with recent technology

Sir,
Most of the developed countries are trying to use renewable resources for generation of electricity where sun light is not available for more than 100 day in a year, then why cant we go for this,we have sun light for more than 300 days in a year in maximum part of India.
