“The earth, water and the air are not a gift to us from our parents but a loan from our children.” ---Anonymous

Energy resources have transformed human lives and lifestyles. Energy resources have allowed for human achievement and ambition to move from the potter’s wheel, farmer’s plough and the weaver’s loom to space missions and robots among others. However, the modern world looms in the shadow of a severe energy crisis: the result of unsustainable and inefficient use of energy resources.

Unsustainable and inefficient energy consumption threatens the very basis of life as we have come to know it. In the face of the increasing scarcity of energy resources it is imperative that we launch a committed, concerted and cumulative effort towards holistic energy use habits and sustainable consumption patterns.

Energy conservation most importantly means that conservation becomes an all pervasive habit, an everyday philosophy and practice that aims to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels, adoption of energy efficient lifestyles and fostering innovations in green and clean energy technologies.

D&NHPDCL invites suggestions, guidance, comments from citizens, self-help groups, environmental organisations towards developing Energy Conservation as a habit towards an energy secure future.

BICYCLES...we have to increase the use of bicycles and the roads should be given place for safe cycling. so we can depend and spend less on oil imports, save our foreign exchange reserves, no air pollution, sound health condition..as swatch bharat , start a program for increasing the use of cycling as a massive event.software companies, psu's, factories, can provide cycling facilities to their employees n motivate them to use it for offices, #energy conservation

According to SECC 74.5% Household income less than 166.66₹ per day for approx 4-5 membar family.they can not afford energy efficient CFL(approx 140 ₹) & LED (250-400₹) for lightning. Most of them prefer a 10 ₹ 100W bulb for lightning. Gov initiative scheme towards Prakash path is admirable but need to spread to all India level for decreasing the energy needs & towards green house emissions.

we can save our electricity and fuel by imposing a rule by stopping private vehicles, bikes, office cabs etc. on Saturday. It is usually seen that employees attend offices on Saturday but working intensity is very poor on that vary day. If we stop using private vehicles (except personal work, tour, hospital emergencies), we can save fuel, as well environment (air pollution, noise pollution). Moreover, if we don't attend office (except very important work) on Saturday, electricity can be saved.

Following technique will save money of common man and Indian government, since while designing a house we can keep, space for these bluish , greenish sunban bricks in wall, and even in roof, which will save money for electricity + you need not to bother as it provides cool shade to room + Privacy is well maintained.
