Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

Petrol har jagah nahi hai.lekin PANI har jagah dharti me hai. Phir bhi pani ki samsya kyo hai. Pani ke samadhan master plan banakar kam ho. Desh ke sabhi nagriko ko nisulk pani milna chaiye.

A huge potential is present in India and its nearby leading areas which is in Indian boundary for oil exploration, specially NER (North Est Region). We (Oil Companies) should be provided with Cutting edge technologies and there should be less restriction in using those in mining as well as oil sector until those are really affect environment.

Chennai Petroleum - A government owned company is showing losses when everyone else shows profit. There could be corruption. An investigation should be done and this company management needs to improve and privatization is required.

For greater success in North Eastern state , Foreign Players who have advantage in 3D sesmic surveys ,Aerial surveys where our PSU are not that strong should join hands with such players and strike Gold in NE states in new NELP policy and not waste time in winning blocs and later surrendering it after 2 -5 years.

Energy / electricity production & sale should be open market. I.e individual should be allowed to produce his own electricity & should no need to any process & tax to sale extra electricity with in limited area.

sir, i am ongcian and as for as exploration and production are concerned , i feel only like ongc, oil indai established organizations can do meaning full progress taht too with lot of expertise from other groups. hence breaking up such activity will bring in inefficent mechanisma and may lead to accidents adn environment issues

Steps must be taken to merge public sector oil and gas companies to reap advantage of economies of scale,reduction in admin.expenses and wider brand image.Oil and gas exploration and basic production can be merged with ONGC.Refining,R&D can be merged to a single entity.Distribution and retailing can also be merged to a single company.

i want to set up a biodiseal plant i have done a report on this and found that at present biodiseal industry is not allowed to produce biodiseal using corn etc . if we plant jatropha for producing biodiseal it takes min 7 years to get yeald . no farmear want to plant the trees before the plant is set up in their area , so i request you to make policy changes to allow biodiseal plant to use corn etc . & deregularase without any goverment agency license
