Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

Sir We have lots of govt. Deptt , and in every department so many officers and workers are doing their job from 50-60 Km and burn lots of fuel and Time i.e a man living dwarka is doing there job in east delhi and another same deptt man of same post living in east delhi and doing their job in dwarka, for example in Kendriya vidyalaya teachers. Due to this lots of traffic problem, wastage of man power, National loss of fuel , unnecessary tiredness etc. which can be solve by easy transfer policy.

Greater participation of local communities and state government in exploration and production activities in NE areas would be a right step towards empowerment as well as enhancement of ownership& accountability of these authorities.But at the same time greater exploration needs better technology and more investment, oil exploration and production should always be controlled by the central government in terms of providing policies, strategies, guidance and coordination etc.

it seems nobody reading these comments...I posted various mails to Ministry of Food Processing Industries, but no reply. Even copy sent to PMO...now I am sure that PM also just talks, no seriousness to new research and innovations. China has called me for sharing my ideas on getting edible oil and biofuels from waste, I going to meet chinese officials as Indian govt. not paying attention to my research and idea.

Can you allow people to pay for their gas cylinder through bank account when they order cylinders? You can retain cash option similar to the cash on delivery by ecommerce sites. It allows for reduction in currency notes being transferred, risk for the gas agent carrying cash, petty corruption due to no change available, additional financial float for LPG companies and more importantly, some convenience for customers.

There are lot of research being carried out by our IITs to convert the plastic wastes into crude oil by breaking the polymer chains. Make people aware of it & start such units. There was a scheme introduced by the bangalore city corporation which ensures the processing of the plastic wastes. It also assured about 75% output, 25% of the output will be used by plant. This make people aware of usefull ness of the plastic & ensures that people don't throw plastic. Make more & more such plants.

Is the election schedule in J & K too long? . It is stretching almost a month in terms of voting and over 6 weeks in the process. All this puts stress on security forces with limited initiative to avoid another civilian casualty. I think this process needs to be compressed even if extra forces are to be mobilised and Jharkhand could have been delayed. I feel these martyrs lost their life and the terrorists got extra time to prepare and try to disrupt the election. It is time we think of e- votin

but with the help of crossing we need only one traffic police to watch on traffic signals. We can install the crossing behind the zebra crossing so it will very helpful to pedal persons.

I hope & believe that installation crossing on each cross road project will become success & more power full in india, For the same projects these advantages we have like, people will know that crossing is closed for particular time so they will off vehicle engines for 5 minutes so you can assume that how much fuel we can save, as we know there are total 4 to 5 traffic police are there to control the traffic though they can's manage overall traffic,

As you know traffic is a very bigger issue in India, I would like to suggest as digital & technology prospects to you that we can install crossing on each cross road & we can get as equal time duration for open & close the crossing like a railway crossing. I know that it's too much costly but we can reduce fuel, Time & Traffic police for control the traffic. It should be operate automatic from the operation room. Please think for it with your Engineering team.

Sir, This has become a established fact that the majority of subsidiary given in Oil sector in particular of Kerosine & domestic LPG cylinder goes in the hands of black market & the benefit donot reaches to the lower strata of the society . This subsidiary needs to be directly transferred to the bank a/c of the user i if this happen then all would be benefited including GOvt. as likly chances are product utilization would be in control & their fore subsidiary cost would get reduced.
