Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

For stop pollution as well as save the Petroleum consumption specially in metro city! • First of all, stop the road encroachment by any one. (encroachment means stop or halt in right place as well as remove the hawkers from Road sides. • Secondly prefer the turn in spite of Right Turn. • Stop the non power vehicles in day time on main road ( which is more the 60 feet wide). • Allow the non power vehicles only in the residence colonies.

Sir why there is continuous increase in Excise duty as there is already heavy duty levied. Duty on petroleum product should be set off by increase in duty of liquor or other luxury product.

Usage of plastic PVC cup / glass needs to be banned at the earliest. Because PVC is made from VCM (Vinyl Chloro Monomer) and from studies on workers in PVC polymerisation plants during the 1970’s that VCM can be a carcinogen, with the potential to cause a rare form of cancer (cancer of the blood vessels of the liver known as angiosarcoma), if there is significant exposure over a prolonged period.

Majority of pollution is due to heavy vehicles – Heavy trucks, state & city government transport buses. This diesel generated fumes are very dangerous which can lead to Lungs cancer & polluting climate. Strict yearly checks up of heavy vehicles are required for vehicle health condition like – exhaust condition, lights functioning & brakes condition. This will helps in reduction pollution & accidents also.

I think, the decision to increase excise duty and production cost of petrol and diesel is only to increase the safe of Government. Why this Modi government is not thinking about how to make every citizen of India happy by reducing some useless taxes on petrol and diesel. I really wonder that why this Modi government is not thinking about each and every citizen of India. Really it is disgusting

First of all, this Modi governments decision to deregulate diesel price is very wrong. I am saying this because already there is too much inflation in India and in this period of huge inflation, this Modi Government has taken such a meaningless decision as deregulation of diesel price certainly increase its price and will increase inflation. Also, it is very much unfair to increase excise duty and production cost on Petrol and Diesel. Modiji, think about poor people of India.

Uprooting criminals across India-I know this is a state subject.But IB is definitely under centre.Increase the strength by 10 fold & gather actionable intelligence on each & every criminals across india.Then start cleaning up after 2/3 yrs.This should be handled by you.You are accountable to us as we have voted for you with a lot of hope.We have seen your efforts to clean India but no efforts to clean criminals & corrupt practices.(corruption in petrol pumps should be top most priority)

Sir I agree with kumar vats. Sir we r common man. Sir agar diseal ke price badhte hein to transport vale price badhake vegetables or fruits ke rates badhate hein to abhi uske rate cum hone par rates kyu cum nahi ho rahe hein

I understand that we are importing Natural Gas to supply it to all fertilizers companies. They convert it into Syn gas ( CO+H2) and makes fertilizers. GOI pays aprox Rs 1 lakh crore subsidy to farmers. We have technology by that, Farmers residual waste material can be converted into Syn gas (CO+H2) which can used by fertilizers companies, thus ensuring use of Natural gas in other application like Power genereration. Hence reducing import burden.... Can it not be interesting? Amanpreet
