Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

Honorable PM & Honorable Railway Minister Sir Goods movement has benefit Indian Railway but passenger carrying is not only income but its a service to the citizen, kindly make separate road for Goods and Passenger with Electrification, 2 for Goods(up&Down), 2 for -Passenger(up&Down) so the demand can be met, this separate track concept is in metro cities but it has to extended to throughout the country.

For making NE attractive from point of view of companies, there has to be economy of scale in production and transportation in oil & gas. Thus a frugal way to improve economy of scale will be through completion of India-Bangladesh-Myanmar gas pipeline asap, which will result in rapid development of India's NE

Honorable PM & Honorable Railway Minister Sir, Indian Railway has under gone so may modernization since independence but the changes are not up to meet the present need, by introducing e-ticket one can book his ticket from his home but the trains are not sufficient to carry increasing passenger, for meeting this issue I humbly request you to spread your vision toward Double Decker concept in all the class, number of trains are already increased but the passenger accommodation to increase

continue from below. Please make flats for Railway staff in such complexes. There should be dedicated house for essential ( class 3 & 4 ) staff and for senior staff ( class1 & 2). Such dedicated houses will improve supervision of the railways. Further Unions will find these attractive. The commercial space cn be sold by builder to make cost recovery and profit. Hotel compexes will be very attractive for buinessmen. Residents will will find great convenience in living. WIN WIN WIN

Honourable PM & Honourable Railway Minister- Modernisation of Railway Stations The idea of conevrting stations as residential complexes and shopping area is great. It has been tried very successfully in areas where land is very costly. Few months back I happened to see such station complexes in Hongkong.
