Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

Please kindly approve Non-Gasoline projects which uses Bio-diesel/natural gas.So that atleast upcoming vehicle motors(2/3/4 wheelers) will have this option and our nation need not to bend Arabian countries. We can produce by ourself using our vegetables waste. It will be a new REVOLUTION introduced by BJP

Stae govts.should be shareholders in projects. They should supply local produce and transport solutions in the form of tractors(HMT, TAFE) and trailers so locals can use them for the projects as well as private use.Run regular health camps using your drilling crew medics and sponsor local youth in skills training for jobs required in your projects -mechanics.Also use spoolable composite pipe (Compipe, Pipelife) to minimize environmental impact. This can be re-used and laid fast, upto 5km/d.

In the NE areas logistics are difficult, due to hilly terrain , narrow roads. There are many rivers and streams, though. Also, ecology is sensitive.Local people should not get affected by movement of equipment and setting up of production sites. This is the main reason for local opposition Use of heli-rigs and coiled tubing drilling based on pads in rivers and streams can reduce use of roads and land. Locals should be employed in services like catering and smaller transport.

Mr.PM your fervent call to the countrymen to make Vevekanada's dream of switching from worship of Gods and Godesses to worshiping Bharat Mata has failed to register with most of the BJP cadres not to talk of the hindu religious groups.Make a more direct appeal as it can be a huge game-changer.

reasons given for continuation of common pricing of deregulated products by OMC's is bunkum and deprives customers from availing competitive pricing benefits.Govt should force them to adopt global practices.
