Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

I have sent a mail to Ministry of Food Processing regarding my new research in which we can produce biodiesel and edible oil from waste rice bran (which presently used for animal feed), but my mails are not being taken seriously and it seems that Indian govt is not ready to encourage new ideas and innovation, Modi ji just talks, no action on ground level, I really disappointed from govt & now sharing my technology with China who is ready to work with me and sponsor me. Hope this message reach PM

If you ban cricket in India Indian economy will improve like anything. Cricket is there only in common wealth countries. U look at the money spent by the companies on advertising during the matches and time wasted by people watching the matches, it is a curse on Indian economy. Inflation will come down and rupee value will go up by just banning cricket.

Dear All, Absolutely energy is very much imporatnt for a developing nation as ours. But, the same time we must not sacrifice the Nature. We must balance both when it comes for oil & gas based energy. Mainly exploration location must not be chosen where the Agriculture will greatly be affected. Fresh water resources & availablity will be the greatest challenge of this centuri. Without oil we can survive.. but, With out drinking water we cannot. So government decision must be careful always. Thank you.

We "Get what we Give". Bharat has huge underutilized potential in NEI. NEI, if developed, can alone uplift GDP by 25%. Three point Action Plan to bring down disconnect between Bharat and NE 1) Peace in NEI - Eliminate armed factions completely 2)Infrastructure Development - Roads, Railways, Airports, Schools, Colleges and Universities 3) Trust & Job Creation - Promote Tourist from Indian states to explore NEI I know these are easy said than done. But we "Reap what we sow".Only Modiji can do

People are willing to participate because of unemployment poverty etc. Govt should prepare a list of the issues of all the PSU or others involved and then finalise a plan
