Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

Dear Pradhanji, please find a way not to reduce the price of diesel for state run depots of Karnataka government because they haven't passed any benefit to public even though the central government reduced prices 12 times so far after taking over in May. Looks like the Congress government in the state is eating away the money reduced by central government since only few states left under the kitty of this corrupt party to feed their high command! take some action on those states which doesn't

I stay in gulf and recently to avoid blackmarketing of gasoline, they have introduced aadhaar like chip card (called Sadeem card) whereby distribution, consumption tracking, monitoring and subsidising is controlled and known to the govt on daily basis. The cards are prepaid but for India application, could be thought as post paid as well.

To Ensure Energy security of our nation, we must actively invest in Oil and Gas assets across globe. China has made great progress in this area. Though OVL, OIL and ONGC have made considerable progress in this area, it is still grossly insufficient. We should follow Japan model where Japex, Inpex invest in Oil and Gas Blocks across the globe with the assurance of continued Gas / Oil supply to Japan.

Dear Modi sir, in our country we import oil from outside, every vehicle on the road goes for a lubrication oil change some where between 3000-20000 kms once, this oil can be refined and reused again. this process will save lot of foreign exchange, removed dependency and generates employment to the people of the country.cost of vehicle ownership will come down for the end user.by removing some elements in such oil, it can used for electricity generation,as fuel to locomotives too.
