Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

I feel to reduce consumption LPG/kerosene.. We have to bring a rule or process like people who buys LPG, kerosene should be forbidden and it can be filtered based on income and people who buys kerosene, LPG should be limited to certain level.. reason to say this is,people who doesn't use kerosene still they buy and sale it at good price.. which can be avoided if we reduce in this way..

Sir, India needs to invest on getting at least 150 days of oil storage for future, Oil prices has been falling because of ISIS effect,Oil producing nations reducing the cost of oil to less than $80 so that USA will continue to buy oil from them and US shale oil production triggered the price war.If we buy oil when the cost is at lowest it is going insulate our economy from oil futures trading. Please encourage making of super capacitors with in India which helps electric vehicles seen on road

Automobile industry should focus on research and development of cars that run on hydrogen cell based-fuel for the country to escape its dependence on crude oil. The US has huge amounts of oil. The oil companies there have also developed huge infrastructure in this sector. Therefore, they do not want other countries to develop alternatives such as hydrogen cell fuels So Govt of India should fund research of alternative fuuels like solar or hydrogen or elecric cars...plans for 10 years

R,/Sir, by allowing Ethanol up to 50% will drastically reduce country's Import dependency on ther countries and will reduce the burden on economy as well. By allowing suger mills to produce Ethanol for fuel purpose will boost economy and resolve the sugar mill- farmers disputes as sugar mills will gain extra and will have money for payment to farmers. presently a huge quantity of molasses goes waste as there is a quota system on using it
