Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

Modi Sir, We are importing fuel energy and hence it is necessary to reduce the consumption of petroleum products. And hence it is very necessary to motivate the solar energy sector and automotive which are running on batteries. in news i heard that the subsidy is going to withdrawn to rich people is very good decision. I suggest you that the subsidy should not be given to the people who are income tax payers. this would be good and helps to reduce the financial burden on government

The subsidy on SKO should be restricted to only BPL card holders only subject to they not having LPG connection.The SKO allocation should be immediately reviewed based on genuine demand of BPL customers only .You will find that a huge reduction shall be there in allocation .One should. I have been working for last 34 in Oil Industry across all 4 regions/marketing/logistics/retail/LPG /Direct/corporate planning/international trade/pipelines/refineries .The best way to tackle this issue of SKO/LPG subsidy is to understand that there is no subsidy on SKO/LPG in very poor countries like Pakistan n Bangladesh. Suggestions 1 LPG subsidy at a max rate of 6 cylinders to BPL card holders only or maybe to those whose income is below taxable limit contd

Government is a body to govern common man and the state.Not supposed to make money or profit in each business it carries out. The private companies in Bharat are making huge profit in gas exploration. Its duty of government to see that, the wealth like petroleum products in Bharat is property of every Bharatiya Nagrik. There are so many learned personalities available in our nation. It is required to consider their advice and act on it seriously.

The issue of subsidies on kerosine/LPG has been contentious issue for avery long time.On this a report was submitted by eminent economist Mr Kirit Parikh .It was indeed a masterpiece if anyone who understand petroleum business .Many of the suggestions made by the report has been implemented by GOI particularly withdrawal of subsidies on petrol/diesel and same can be done in case of kerosine/LPG also quiet easily .One should read the report to understand what I am saying. असल में समझने की जरुरत ये है की महंगाई है कहाँ ? अगर देश का नागरिक खुद समझदारी दिखाए तो उसे चने की दाल ४० रूपये किलो और बेसन ४५ रूपये किलो में भी ले सकता है ऐसे बहुत से उदहारण है जिससे इस महंगाई के मुद्दे को समझने की जरुरत है असल में बाजार में वस्तुओ के मूल्य तय नहीं होने से महंगाई की ये स्थिति है मेरा सुझाव है की अगर सरकार प्रत्येक कृषि उत्पादों और उससे निर्मित उत्पादों के मूल्यों का निर्धारण कर दे तो ये महंगाई का आंकड़ा मुद्दा नहीं बन सकता ! सुनील कुमार श्रीकरनपुर

मैं देश की महंगाई के मुद्दे पर अपने कुछ विचार प्रकट करना चाहता हु सबसे पहले एक बात को समझना जरुरी है की असल में महंगाई है कहाँ ? देश का किसान अपनी फसल किस दाम पर बेचता है और जब वह बाजार में जरूरी खाने पीने का सामान खरीदने जाता है तो किस मूल्य पर खरीदता है उदहारण के तौर पर आम किसान चने की फसल बाजार में बेचता है तो अमूमन २७०० से २९०० रूपये के बीच में फसल बिकती है लेकिन जब वह बाजार में घर के लिए चने की दाल या बेसन खरीदने जाता है तो ६० से ७० रूपये किलो का मूल्य अदा करता है फिर कहता है की महंगाई है!

Sir We are struggling for self sufficiency in oil & gas production, at the same time we are lacking latest technology & latest equipment in PSUs for E & P business. The drilling rigs used for exploration are very old & at the same time manpower available is also at the verge of retirement. Physical work is very much needed in drilling and with the old manpower efficiency definitely suffers. Comparison of Rig +manpower in use in India & internationally will make the difference. May look into it.

India should have desalination plants for providing water to drought affected areas. India is dependent on rains for harvesting. To eliminate water shortage desalination plants should be set up. If there is good rainfall, the plant can be stopped and restarted when required.

Why we don't have CNG in Bangalore? Bangalore is one of the city which has Wide Bus Transportation Service and the pollution from it makes unbearable sometimes. Why don't we switch to CNG similar like Delhi and reduce pollution.
