Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

Part 4 / 4 : CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: Lastly, once the process is set in motion, the agency engaged in the E & P activities should continuously in touch with State Governments & local populace/area through discharging of the CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY ACTIVITIES, working for economic upliftment of the area such as helping the state to have better roads, schools, hospitals, , electricity, communication, connectivity etc.. .NO WONDER THEN, NORT-EAST CAN GROW ONLY NORTHWARDS!

Provide the people of north east more dignity in daily life.impart stringent punishment for those who discriminate them . Repeal all those draconian laws prevailing there. Provide better connectivity to other parts of the nation. Try to solve their regional tensions through discussions. When their improves through these measures there will be better participation from the people i the exploration and production activities.

Dear Prime Minister , More than Swacch Bharat, I implore you to initiate Sabhya ( decent ) Bharat. Human beings have no humanity left. The animosity and insensitivity towards each other in day to day life is astounding. If we are polite and civil with each other in the small things in life , this will be a country worth living in. And on a lighter note the culture of Bhau, Dada, Nana, Appa politicians and their genuflecting followers must end. Swacch. Sabhya. Swabhimani . Jai Hind.

Dear Sir, We must encourage private sector companies to participate in activities . Govt must ensure that they receive 25%-40% of output till the last drop of oil is extracted . Entry fees must be kept low so that many companies can be encouraged for participation . Govt share should be sold at market rates and proceeds must be used to build infrastructure of NE area ONLY .

Dear citizens may concern is to stop correption in every office by simple policy by our PM 1. Any file submitted in any Dept should be processed for approval with in a month or ask for the required documents or observation in every stage of sanctioning authority. 2. If once docuemnts reaches then for the second time no one should entitled to ask further documents and should processed only for the approval. 3. Then Corruption can be easily controlled and the citizens will be happy.
