Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

As per one of the articles, we have not completed our part of highway for India-Myanmar-Thailand trilateral highway. While other countries have completed their part of highway. Building road can be a huge job create specially in NE.Also this will increase trade and tourism by which again more jobs will be created. Request you to kindly complete this work as soon as possible.

We will have to create e-tolls, like how dubai has. The money gets debited directly from your account, no need to wait in line. With long lines a lot of petrol is wasted and pollution created. The time saved by good road is wasted at long line at toll.

Chinmay panth 2 secs ago Motor cycle riders in india are so unruly and with least road sense. Can we look to build a FOURM to work on this cause as this is not a hazard for the motorcycleist but every one on road .
