Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

the fundamental point is no one looses any money for the sin of cultivating and incentives are offered for the production of rice, wheat, pulses and vegetable more incetive for organic farming no incentives should be given for sugarcane crops (pawar beware) if you want to bring down the alchohol menace in this country and if you are really a ghandhi beliver

total crops and agri prouction of this country should be insured by the govt and govt insurance company against mansoon failure and other calamities

doe GRICULTURE MY impression no subsidies for tractors, fertiliser and all such nonsenses. Let the farmer choose their own financing fro agri banks at the rate of 4% give them only incentives on production and cultivation

never the subsidies should be through political parties. wait for some more time so that zero balance card comes to around 25 crores. Segragate these cards for the category of LPG subsidy

Dear Sir, this has been hard to crack the nuts for subsidies on renewable energy segments, very complexed and cumbersome process to deal with .where in when we offer depreciation benefits for end users why not tax exemptions for individual buyers .This will help encourage more & more urban users to install roof top systems for captive power generations apart from open ended bank finances including private banks for availability of bank finances. I have one idea regarding subcidies LPG. As per rule only 12 LPG would allowed per year per household. If govt. launches some incentives for those who consumes less than 12 LPG. This will encourage to many people to use minimised . So our challenges in petroleum sector issue might be improved.

Sir, Why subsidies are for all?? The time have passed by when it couldn't be differentiated now you can, give subsidies only to those who don't give income tax (This can be identified easily through PAN card) ie., who have income certain above a certain level, but there is a cache the limit should be made variable and this limit must depend on economic conditions of India.
