Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

In petroleum sector..... If u want success forgot about excuses but if u give excuses forgot about success. It has been seen that when petrol rates rises everybody shouted to reduce it down. It happens as in intetnational market rates fluctuated. I think when we made a such system where stocking and servicing runs simultaneously so that economically that manages rotationally.

I THINK PETROL AND DIESEL PRICE AND DUTY ON THE SAME SHOULD EQUAL ON ALL STATE THEN IT WILL HELP ON STATE REVENUE. KINDLY TAKE STEPS FOR THE SAME........

There is no need to cut price of petrol and diesel. it will be a big burden on future. if tomorrow suddenly increase of petrol and diesel price on international market then it will affect to our cost. so i think no do not cut price off petrol and diesel price......

Every year oil crude acount deficiency is increasing.if we use mithen gas (gobar gas- produced from cow dung bullock dung) instead of petrol, diesel. then we dont have to import crude oil from other country. then india will save 1.32 crore rupees per year. in india there are 17 crore cows now . we can do that. for that we have to stop cow slaughter. mithen gas will cost 50-60 paisa/km. no pollution. there wont be much engine sound. beneficial from every angle

Statement1: With huge reduction in crude oil price ($ 48/ barrel compared to &110/barrel a year ago), the upstream oil companies are greatly affected all over the world. Statement2: The oil inventory is maintained for 1 month in India. Opinion: India needs to look into the matter and increase inventory to atleast 3 months. It will help in stabilise price volatility here and ensure energy security.

THE MPs & MLAs should become Role Models for others by declaring themselves not to avail the LPG Subsidy as they belong to the Creamy Layer of the Society. They should become example for others belonging to the Creamy Layer of the Society. Hope this message reaches them for whom it is meant and Govt takes initiative to show their sincerity in true spirit.

Added a Post With fall in price of crude oil we expect reduction in prices of petrol. Instead Govt is burdening with additional excise duties. Please reduce the energy burden on masses. For rich it does not make any difference whether petrol is of Rs 70 or 100.
