Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

you won haryana talking about robert vadra and nothing is done.. may be bjp MP are benefiting now in haryana enquiries, court cases,punishement are taking decades jeyalitha, lalu and dayanithi maran, kanimoghi and so many others are still at large and people now are sure nothing will be done to them for me who ever stalls the parliment are anrchist and BJP party is an anrachist party

when you talk about dharna of kejriwall you7 forget the no of days continuously your party wasted on black money and 2 g and coal scam with UPA was in power and you have done nothing to book the culprits so far

one good comment for Modiji today I followed the full interview Mr.Manohar Parikar with Karan Thapar. I am very happy to see a young inteligent honest man answering the questions in a straight forward manner. I am 67 i can spot a good man by seeing them . bring more such people around you instead of sycophants who will destroy you give him more power and let him take care of this very importantportfolio

Hello Everyone, As we all know the crude oil price is going down in the international market. so we all the happy that petrol or diesel is getting cheaper day by day. i have one concern, what will happen when its price again goes up.!!! same issue of petrol and diesel will popup. can't we make something like, all the vehicles should be on gas. may be methane or propane. if we go with this, 1. we need not to import any thing, we can produce it. 2. pollution can be controlled 3. cheaper rates
