Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

India is developing and a big country,new resources of pertoleum be searched in india and new renewable sources of energy be brough to use can be replaced with petrolem,india can discover petroeum in the neighbouring couries and can buy at cheap rates.

INSTALLATION OF RAIN HARVESTING AND SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM BE MADE COMPULSORY WHILE AUTHORISING THE MAP FOR CONSTRUCTION OF BUILDINGS. WILL SAVE CONSUMPTION OF POWER AS WELL AS INCREASING GROUND LEVEL OF WATER ALSO. EXISTING BUILDINGS - SUBSIDY OR CHEAP LOANS BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR DOING SUCH ACTIVITIES

ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT, IT WILL REDUCE THE VEHICLE TO VEHICLE DISTANCE ON ROADS , AS WELL AS ACCIDENTS AND SAVE PRECIOUS OIL FOR NATION DEVELOPEMNT. EMPLOYEES OF GOVT. SECTOR SHOULD BE TRANSFERED NEAR TO THEIR HOME TOWNS, WHREVER POSSIBLE . IT WILL ALSO REDUCE THE TRAFFIC ON ROADS. PUBLIC TRANSPORT SHOULD BE MADE POPULAR AND EASILY AVAIALBE AS WELL AS COMFORTABLE ALSO.

TO MAKE PMJDY SCHEME MORE EFFECTIVELY: LOCAL BODY PERSONS LIKE : M.C.s, SARPANCHES, NAMBARDARS ETC SHOULD ALSO BE MADE LIABLE FOR GETTING ALL THE PERSONS IN THEIR COMAND AREA HAVE ACCOUNT WITH BANK. THEY SHOULD DO THE WORK WITH CO-ORDINATION OF THE BANK AND AS SOCIAL RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SOCIETY/NATION.

IN BANKING SCENARIO : BANK SHOULD BE MADE BIGGER SIZE BANK TO COMPETE INTERNATIONAL LEVEL. MERGING OF NATIONALISED BANKS TO 4-5 BANK IS ONE SOLUTION ON THE OTHER HAND , IT WILL REDUCE THE EXPENDITURE IN BULK AT NOT ONLY AT TOP LEVEL BUT ALSO WILL REDUCE THE NO.OF BRANCHES OF DIFFERENT BANKS IN SMALL LOCATION. AND COVER THE OTHER NON BANK AREAS OF THE COUNTRY.

A PERSON SHOULD BE RESTRICTED TO OPEN MIN. 2 BANK A/Cs TO CHECK BLACK MONEY CONCEPT. CASH TRANSACTION SHOULD BE TAXED MORE JUST TO MOVE PEOPLE TO TECHNOLOGY BASED TRANSACTIONS. A SMALL PORTION OF CASH TRANSACTION TAX RECEIVED BY THE BANK/BRANCH SHOULD BE REWARDED TO PERSON USING NET ETC NON CASH TRANSACTION. USAGE OF OTHER ATM B MADE TOTAL FREE.

IN BANKING SECTOR REFORMS: AWARD STAFF BEING CONSIDERED LESS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TYPE OF WRONG THINGS, SHOULD BE SWITCHED OVER BY ALL OFFICER`S BRANCHES. AWARD STAFF NEEDS TO BE PROMOTED AND DIRECT RECRUITMENT SHOULD BE OF OFFICER CADRE TO MAKE EACH & EVERY PERSON DOING HIS/HER DUTIES WITH RESPONSIBILITIES AND FAIR.

Provide a separate training or a short bridge course just like ITI course related to drilling and other basic operation and create some jobs based on that courses. I think it will automatically catch interest of local communities !
