Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

what India requires now is a full throttle run in installing bio gas plants in at least one lakh villages where there are more than 200 cows so that thousands of metric tons of organic manure, bio gas for cooking, and lot of electricity can be created and not mega units of chemical fertilizers

Narration of developmment through exploration of petroleum products by taking the world examples to local communites, as a first step few spots to be selected for this where scientists are more sure of success , result of regional successful excavation to be put forward for other's to follow as further step.

you promised minimum departments and maximum governance but you have unnecessary expanded the cabinet due to political compulsions but keep a check on bad ministers

now as far as the budjet goes my father used to advise me that it is not important to look for fresh revenues rather honestly cut down the unnecessary expenses which is most important

peope feel cheated on the efforts so far taken by your government on this issue. you can not further delay this process bring a white papaer in the parliment
