Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

every body is predicting the benefits for gst which requires admintrative reforms and honesty otherwise it will not fetch the desirable results

primary education in states, roads other than highways, forests, health, welfare schemes policing ,cooperating with national security agencies, public transport, water management with in states, should be the state sbject

Power national grid , noncontroversial energy,too many corporations are unnecessary.merge all power related companies to one and all the mineral resources to be linked to this department. Public private participation is the only solution. reduction for grid loss, power theft, energy saving all these important matters should be dealt by this corporation environment ministry can be a obstacle and PMO office should be the final arbitrator
