Formulating Schemes is an important aspect of governance, no doubt, it exhibits good intentions, agreed, but most important part of governance is the implementation of the policies which takes them to the people percolating their benefits to them (the people), to the last person in the farthest cornor of the land. And, CHILD HEALTH, AND EDUCATION, ARE SUCH SECTORS OF POLICY MAKING WHICH NEED TO REACH THE LAST CHILD IN THE FARTHEST CORNOR. ALAS! IT CAN'T BE SAID THAT IT HAS HAPPENED.

"HEALTHY MIND IN A HEALTHY BODY." should be the buzz line. 'HEALTH' forms the very basic of child education, especially at the elementry level. No doubt, Government schemes, like the Mid-Day Meals, are there exhibting anxiety of the Government towards child health. But it is a harsh reality on the ground that the Government schemes somehow go awry in the implementation stage. THOSE ENTRUSTED WITH THE TASK OF TRANSLATING SCHEMES INTO ACTION HAVE DEVELOPED TENDENCY OF TAKING THINGS FOR GRANTED

Children should develop interest and not be forced to do anything through practical experiments, play way methods. I have lots of suggestions if given an opportunity
