#Health System: Broad band and technology in rural areas and specially in remote rural areas is therefore an imperative. Also avaliability of generic medicines at low cost in rural and semi-urban areas should be ensured. For this more medicine centres/shops should be set up. Three pdf files are being attached which may be uesful.

Instead of creating or building new AIIMS, it would pay better if we could retain our existing setup. Let us help strengthen our existing government hospitals, from renovating to hiring more doctors. If required it would be fruitful to include Management professionals from colleges like IIM's to be a part of the hospital administration to ensure that both experience and new management techniques are incorporated in hospital management. Improving the status quo of Doctors will prove encouraging.

#Health System: Further, lack of access to doctors and provison of even basic or primary health care compounds the situation. Appalling conditions of many primary health centres worsen the situation. Many rural people have to travel considerable distances to get basic treatments. Technology can play a key role and bridge the gap for poor health services. Internet and mobile telephony can be used to adivice the rural people regarding health problems.

#Health System: Lack of clean drinking water etc. which results in preventable communicable diseases like jaudice, cholera, malaria etc. Rural India, therefore, where a majority of population reside, does not require any specialized tretment in super multi speciality hospitals and more stress needs to be laid on cleanliness and providing of basic facilities like toilets, clean drinking water etc. to prevent occuring of common diseases.

#Health System: The disease profile and health problem in rural and urban areas differ widely resulting in regional disparities. While diseases in urban areas may be termed as lifestyle diseases emanating from unhealthy eating habits like junk food, lack of exercise etc resulting in diseases/problems like obesity, high blood pressure, cholestrol etc., that in rural areas are mostly of a preventable nature and resulting from lack of access to cleanliness, lack of toilets, open defacation etc.
