# fairs must be organised on a regular basis in urban areas in order to attract people from all ages and strata of society.
# New and creative designs that attract the youth must be encouraged.
# small units must be set up to reach to the remotest areas of India. By adopting this method, we can certainly improve the standard of living and get their creative ideas to the world.
# apart from organizing fairs, shops must be opened up at various places just like MNCs such as levis, lee etc.

More widespread availability, where good quality products from all states are available. Excellent showrooms. Dilli Haat was supposed to be this, but we often don't get what we go for.

Apart from ideas mentioned, hammering via advertisements a must. Quite a few examples of marketing one can see, which has sold many a sub standard product, organising fashion shows or in every fashion event, an added feature on handloom, covered and promoted by media, young stars endorsing the product via macho advertisements may help.

Bollywood / Film & TV Industry provides great branding support. How about providing co-production funding support to a leading Bollywood producer if he/she can produce and promote a movie that is based on a a script that brings out the best of Indian handlooms and handloom weavers as a main part of the story? This can be a thriller, a romance, a comedy.. whatever, the viewers leave the cinema hall appreciating Indian handlooms. Merchandizing based on the movie can also be considered,
