The brain drain cannot be stopped in entirety because professionally qualified people have different reasons for going abroad. The brain drain can be reduced by increased outlay on Research and Development both by the goverment and by private organisations. Currently, not enough importance is given top creativity and innovation in the country,as a result professionals taking a different path (from the standard corporate career/goverment job) is not appreciated and is looked down by the society, This needs to chgange.

I think equal opportunity should be for everyone, this may also include getting away with reservation policy. Equal job opportunities will help smart people to work for country. Second aspect is to provide similar standard of living, security (health, wealth). We must make our civil services available to everyone and make them more responsive. Innovation should be rewarded. Govt should have a cell which entertains new technological innovations. This can be done with help of state institutions.

Brain Drain is not the problem for the country, they are sending huge amount of foreign currency and also act as the good will ambassador of the country. We must work on creating more skilled people in country, so that even after some people moving out we have enough talent in the country.
