How can we stop the ‘brain drain’ wherein we are losing some of the brightest minds to other nations due to lack of suitable opportunities here? At the same time how do we get back those who left India, giving them opportunities whereby they shine and make India proud?

To decelerate the brain drain, the government needs to pump in more money in R&D sector. A large number of Indian students migrate every year to Europe and the USA to pursue research career there. The primary reason for doing so is the pathetic level of fellowships they get here in India. Also, the government, including present one, does not seem to be respectful for their scientists, especially the younger ones. The acts of the establishment are acting as a catalyst for brain drain.

NAREGA scheme became a source of corruption. workers do not work due to job security under NAREGA. Moreover it also encourages drugs. To secure the benefits of scheme modus operandi should be changed.

LED bulb manufacturing in India---The govt plans to replace the street lights with LED bulbs. This will save electricity and the maintenance cost..Good initiative but if the LED bulls are being purchased from other countries, the money would go to those countries...Hence there is a need to set up LED light manufacturing bases or the order for such LED busls should only be given to indian companies..They will grow but the money would remain in India
