Most of the job advertisements in PSUs and Banks make the applicant send application fee even if there is no written test. The application fee is basically a revenue source that companies use. For example one of the big banks put an advertisement for General Manager and put the age criteria as 21 yrs above. Can the govt stop this practice of charging application money?
