How can we stop the ‘brain drain’ wherein we are losing some of the brightest minds to other nations due to lack of suitable opportunities here? At the same time how do we get back those who left India, giving them opportunities whereby they shine and make India proud?

Braindrain is happning mainly due 2main reasons,1st is lack of exposure to the advanced technlgies 4 the researchers(in every field) to pacify their innovative ideas, 2nd is the initiatives and incentives they get outside our countries. If we need 2 stop dis pls try 2 inculcate d culture of techngy follwed by foreign world in India.Iam sure most of the Indians will start rethinking & come back.A 13 yr oldboy of Indian origin leads a innovation in US but boy(same age) in India just reads dat news

The reason for brain drain is mainly because of the gap between the quality of job and personal life imagined by an educated youth and the ground realities of unemployment and under-employment. Government jobs are sold. What hapenned with LIC exams in 2013 and ONGC exam in 2014? Private jobs in India fetch poor income. Thus, the youth are willing to work outside or for foreign companies in India offering better work conditions. In such situation we cant blame people seeking alternatives outside

sir, If we want to bring world to India we need to show them our True resource, our brains. It cost about 5lakh/year for an iit student, but we subsidize it.Why can't we make them pay it back unless they won't come back to India within a 3 year period, after the study. And then stay min. for a 5 years.Let there options be govt. service, private firms or Fdi.This will force firms to open Indian units of manufacture. On the days we aspire to be a global power, why we act as an incubator to US & Europe?
