Education Policy 1. Vision - To produce a self reliant and self sufficient infrastructure in 10 years and create a large talent pool. 2. Infrastructure - Separate rooms for every class, separate toilets, a playground, Library, Laboratory, Hall or Stage etc. 3. Management - Appoint an MBA graduate for every school as a Manager or Admin. Teachers are only to teach. 4. Control - A website for registration for every school with all records, daily updating. 5. Exam - Oral exams must be there.

• Global Commitment o Indian students will be able to set standards in global environment once they are able to show their talent at right platform. o Knowing that sky is the limit and they can get full access to all the resources from Indian government, our students will be able to showcase their talent across the world. Sorry for too many comments but they were needed to address all issues.

• Research and Development o Why students in USA don’t have to take higher degrees to earn money? Because they are taught skills which can be easily applied to business arena. o Benchmark studies in top countries and different states within India. • Budgetary constraints o India doesn’t have any budgetary constraints; it is the flow of funds which is not able to reach to ground level students.

• Governance and Management o Every zone should report to town and town to district. District to state and state to national level. Enterprises do it with thousands of customers and branches, why can’t India do it. o Center ministry should take accountability from each state and numbers should be available to public and broadcasted across public communication channels.

• System Efficiency o Setting up performance metrics in the following:  Continuing education students percentage  Employability percentage  Poverty line improvement percentage  Enrollment in higher education in public schools percentage

• Information and Communication Technology (ICT) o Provide electricity access and then one computer in every school. Every zone should report to town and town to district. District to state and state to national level. Enterprises do it with thousands of customers and branches, why can’t India do it. • Teacher Development and Management o Qualification level and test should be qualitative and quantitative. o Hierarchical level reporting is important with proper accountability.

• Skills and Employability o Providing skills which not only improve Kids’ aptitude but also prepare them for employability and teaching them skills like business, social entrepreneurship, etc. • Curriculum and Assessment o Ties to quality issues, assessment should be done online or teachers should be asked to post the students’ results online with their answer sheets. Yes, this will need huge data storage which can be bought very cheap with cloud.

Here are my comments/ suggestions addressing the various challenges posted in the draft policy. • Access and Participation o Awareness in the villages and remote area through National broadcasting and news. • Quality Issues o Benchmark best practices in private schools. Teachers should be qualified enough and should be measured on their performance metrics.

sabse pehle hume primary levels ke school ko target karna hoga. jab school ka structure or facilities achhi hongi to bacche bhi khusi khusi aayenge. ponts are below- 1.school ki building achhi ho safe or saaf suthri ho, wahan hariaali ho saaf peene ka paani or toilets hon.....lekin haqikat inme se koi ek bhi facility nahi he. 2.school me teachers educated hona chahiye or uska selection online paper system se hi ho.

Some kids who don't have parents or father end up being sole bread earners for their family. In such cases automatically the kid should get a monthly stipend so that he/she can concentrate more on studies.
