Namaskar, most important development required in our education system :-
Make all schools "Corporal punishment free". Punishments were enforced by British to make the education very tough so that only few would join and still few would pass. Punishment culture is prevalent in all Gov schools especially Kendriya Vidyalayas and is eating away the very roots of our education system.

Sir, In maharashtra In 10th Std; maths subject is made cumpulsary since about 15 years. Many students discontinue their education after passing 9th std: As such those students who join Arts in College , they do not require Maths. ( IF MATHS SUBJECT IS MADE "NOT CUMPULSORY" Then we can save many drop outs from School. In our days Typing was the subjrct if student does not want maths .Now if you include computer basic course at the place of maths ,it would be better. Please consider the matter.

Sir,
I wished two things should be included in schooling and education system of India(point-2)
2-Civic sense needs to be inculcated into the society. That should be taught in school. For instance Government cant catch/punish all those litter in streets, but societal admonishment will deter them from littering. We should teach students, that it is their duty to admonish/request those who litter in streets, this will create clean India as person who was admonished wont try littering in future

Sir,
I wished two things should be included in schooling and education system of India(point-1)
1- Students should know the fact that Nation building is not an easy task. If everything is given for free, they tend to develop take it for granted attitude. They should be taught-India is yet to become developed country and for that they requires hard work from each and every student. For every Abdul Kalam died, student community should produce 5 such Kalams in future to make India stronger.

1) Promotion of feeling to be human being is more important than becoming successful and career oriented should be adopted through our new education policy.
2) Promotion of happiness in distribution of excess resources with others who are lacking resources should be inculcated in our students. A feeling that what ever we have achieved in life only because of others who are not willing to run for their shares.
3) Sanskrit language should be given utmost importance.
4) college&industry integrat

Middle and High School Mathematics should be included with Indian system of astrological calculation called 'Panchank'. We all know how accurate are those, for thousands of years telling exactly the time of eclipses, position of stars etc. Teachers can be provided with necessary training, But 'Desi' system must be taught. The content which is being taught under heading Vedic Mathematics is not good.

Bharat is a land with unity in diversity. V have different types of education methods as each child is different with diverse abilities & weaknesses. Single policy will not & cannot be expected to help us. What is needed is Determination of Teachers & Society, "V want our children to be strong, healthy, sporty & righteous." Better Citizens for Better Tomorrow of our Bharat. Only that will help us & we need to strive for that for each child & youth.

INCOME TAX shall be inducted in mathematics and not merely profit & loss.Today if we ask a kid an Example of action of a thief .He will say stealing geometry box or a pencil only .He doesn't know that not paying income tax is a crime and more than a thief .Is there no need of imparting this education to a kid .Our entire education system is somewhere failing in making man and the best example is big corruption is done by heighly qualified professionals and not merely by an uneducated villager .
