There are few good points in NEP 2016 but it not transformative. At this juncture of history, we need a transformative policy which must include
1. Lesser load on memory of students till VIII std and more focus on understanding.
2. Include civic values in the curriculum to prepare better citizens. Include topics like cleanliness, traffic sense, respect for law in the curriculum
3. The policy is completely silent on reducing the weight of school bag. This needs to be fixed urgently.

Take out the reservation in the education system, Education system should be based on pure merit. Govt schools should be in par with private institution. Children should be made to enrol in any of the extra circular activities not mere studies. Ethics and nationalism should be taught.

Drafting education policy is good step but this will be ineffective if we can't control corruption in hiring process. Upto primary education govt should think on how good teacher can be hired and pay their salary on time.

To overcome inter state education board differences, efforts shall be made for PAN India common syllabus. once we have well established CBSE Board, same syllabus can be followed by state education board with regional fusion. I hope most of the parent prefer CBSE board. There by we will be able to bring parity in our education system. This will also bring feeling of equality among students, who differentiate themselves by their education board/college/university etc.

sir, to promotes teching as profession as well to sort out the problem of faculty in our premium institutes like IITs etc, following is suggested:-
1. student who are pursuing MTech should be allowed to be enrolled as part time faculty,
2. They should be paid handsome stipend i.e at least 30-40 thousand per months.
3. If a IITian not doing MTech, he/she can easily get package worth 12 to 20 lacs per annum, where as one who is doing MTech for further two years, get nothing. Pl think differntly

1. Teaching is not a part time/contract work, even then state&UTs recruiting teacher on contract basis, this old age system must be do away with.
2. There must be "One Nation One Syallabus" respecting regional culture and values.
3. Teacher must be recruited base on "Class/standard" not on " number of student".
4. We must rethink on "No detention & no Exam Policy" as it is not benefeting at all.
5. Burden of extra scholistic work on teacher shall be minimum.

Over the years, teachers are being hired on contractual basis. A teacher in a primary school is poorly paid. He/ She is entrusted with multiple other jobs like mid day meal, administration etc. We cannot expect commitment in such a scenario.
In 60s commitment of teachers was tremendous and they were respected in the society and were paid decently. The Government should pay them well and restore their status. Government schools have to provide quality education. Strong foundation is the key.
