India is accelerating towards an increasingly digitised and data-driven economy. With increasing digitization and engagement, the volume of data is also increasing exponentially, providing opportunities for better governance, service delivery and innovation in sectors critical for societal transformation.

Against this backdrop, the National Data Governance Framework Policy aims to enhance access, quality, and use of data, in line with the current and emerging technology needs of the decade.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology invites all Indian citizens to bring their best ideas, inputs and suggestions to the table as we move ahead to become the hub for Data-driven innovation and decision making.

Please refer to the policy document: Draft National Data Governance Framework Policy (PDF 509 KB)

Govt should Look and govt should have one body who checks whether these universities and enterprises are managing it through proper infrastructure and computer expert teams or not !! 6. every govt. website should collect only those dats which are needed and only for a temporary period of time and citizens should be informed about how long and what purpose it is collected. 7. Indian Police is lacking on Digital Infrastructure Heavily and they don't have proper training to handle such online fraud or cyber crimes and no single central cyber security team is not enough,, every police personnel should get some sort of training so that data management improvise 8.BlockChain At the level or Law and Order and Banking is Need of an hour and must be the priority to secure some critical data 9. Data on Hindus being killed in J&K, West Bengal, Keral, Rajasthan should make the Central Government restless. Pandits have decided to leave Kashmir. Many Hindus in West Bengal have shifted to neighbouring state Assam. Members of Hindu organisations in Keral are being murdered. Is this for which we are celebrating our independence…? First ensure security to every citizen in the country.

Digitisation is still in its initial stage. To use data meaningfully growth of digitisation is essential.Credibility of data recorded is to be verified and to be made transparent through periodical audits and inspection.Such tasks are huge.During COVID whether many states were projecting correct data?So a verification mechanism shall be present to verify the credibility from a third-party.Now as everyone says the privacy of data or data breach and data corruption. Also competency of the team carrying out the system design, development, maintenance should be taken seriously. We should not take some persons from other departments on deputation and setup/maintain such systems. No one shall be finally able to sell our data.So the R&D on government made hardwares and softwares is prime to this. And finally public shall benefits from this data gathering .In our mobile we shall be able to see how many police complaints or status of project. Conclusion:Live up to the challenge with utmost care
