India is accelerating towards an increasingly digitised and data-driven economy. With increasing digitization and engagement, the volume of data is also increasing exponentially, providing opportunities for better governance, service delivery and innovation in sectors critical for societal transformation.

Against this backdrop, the National Data Governance Framework Policy aims to enhance access, quality, and use of data, in line with the current and emerging technology needs of the decade.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology invites all Indian citizens to bring their best ideas, inputs and suggestions to the table as we move ahead to become the hub for Data-driven innovation and decision making.

Please refer to the policy document: Draft National Data Governance Framework Policy (PDF 509 KB)

This days is most common for the buisness holders with a little money they all accountants are make the Tax certificates without presenting accurate or actual accoount detections, this process are totally done by our digital systems. I think there are needs to help by PAN cards or other processes. Change the processes and it convert to automatic processes through the Aadhar Card.

Now a days lot of government work are done through outsourcing or private vendors. In this case data privacy system should be maintained by seriously. IDMO should make a guideline for transfering data to a private vendor from a government organisation and vice versa. Many times important informations are being leaked by these private agencies.

Data report that is immediately required is what Indian poor can't afford that american/EU/ poor do so easily. Currently only income being reported. Taking care that all freebies are accounted. In the developed world except for school & hospital that is free which in India is also free . On top there r midday meals, pregnant diet, woman bhatta, free ration, free MNREGA employment , free power gas, water & even govt jobs & pensions free. Formula for conversion PPP to be changed using minimum wage formula that is consistent across . US 10 $/hour = 750 Rs /Hour & India MNREGA is Rs 30/- hour all expenses & income of India Rs to be multiplied by 25 to get US figures. How many dalits & OBC in developed world. what benefits do they get there and what job entitlement they do get over generations ! How do they manage without dalits when in India they are the best brains 0/100 & running India for 75 years now. Taking India to top from bottom & 90/100 fail NRIs keeping eu/usa on top

What about indirect data affecting Indian Economy ? There is need to keep tab on indirect data affecting the economy of this country. This draft tells nothing about this indirect and harmful data control policy. Vast amount of misguiding indirect data on stock market is being spread on social media like Twitter, Telegram channels. Investors follow advices from such social media accounts & invest their hard earned money into penny stocks or stocks with manipulation by operators. How government will save citizens from such misguiding indirect data sources on social media?
