A streamlined governance, especially at the local level benefits the nation as a whole. India is a signatory to the UN 2030 Agenda to achieve inclusive and people-centric sustainable development through the 17 SDGs.

Thus, with greater cooperation from the citizens of India, efforts of the Government of India and the local bodies towards a qualitative and quantitative transformation of the Panchayati Raj System would be fulfilled.

Panchayat Raj is undoubtedly the best governance in our country. But the corruption plays major role in this system. Even for the small village the candidates has to pay every public in the village.After spending so much of money , you cannot expect the representatives to be Mr.Clean. It is high time to look into this strategy

गांव के विकास में पंचायत की कितनी भागीदारी हो यह सुनिश्चित करना होगा। पंचायतों के लिए online portal हो जिस पर पंचायतें अपनी समस्याओें के संभावित समाधानों को बहुत ज्यादा अंग्रेजी लिखे बिना ही drop boxes में enter करके ही सुझाव दे सकें। इससे यह data आसानी से compile हो जाएगा कि किन गांवो में कौन सी समस्या है और क्या समाधान हो सकता है। उसी portal में पंचायत यह भी जानकारी दे सकते हैं कि उनके पास क्या resources हैं और वह राज्य सरकार से या केन्द्र से क्या मदद लेकर अपने से ही उन समस्याओं का समाधान कर सकते हैं। इससे स्थानीय स्तर पर रोजगार भी उपलब्ध होगा और गांव के लोगों में स्वनिर्णय की क्षमता का भी विकास होगा। राष्ट्रीय और राज्य सरकार की परियोजनाओं में भी गांवों की भागीदारी बढ़ाने के लिए सरकारें योजना का प्रारूप बनाते समय जो गांव उस योजना में शामिल किए जा रहे हैं उनकी पंचायतों को सूचना देकर उनसे सुझावों को आमंत्रित कर सकते हैं। बेतरतीब construction activities गांवों को slum area का रुप दे देते हैं। इसको रोकने के लिए भी पंचायत बहुत कारगर हो सकती हैं।
