Covering various aspects of topics related to the Panchayati Raj System, Schemes and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through this ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ iconic week, let’s provide a strong source of inspiration to all citizens of this country inviting their ideas on the PanchayatVision@2047.

A streamlined governance, especially at the local level benefits the nation as a whole. India is a signatory to the UN 2030 Agenda to achieve inclusive and people-centric sustainable development through the 17 SDGs.

Thus, with greater cooperation from the citizens of India, efforts of the Government of India and the local bodies towards a qualitative and quantitative transformation of the Panchayati Raj System would be fulfilled.

Last date to share your ideas is 14th May 2022.

Panchayat Raj System be made transparent, people centric and corruption free. The consent of the people be taken necessarily to implement or initiate a program. Young, educated and honest people be brought in the system.

The Committee recommended that strengthening of panchayats through capacity building and training should be given more encouragement from the centre and state governments. This would enable them to prepare better Gram Panchayat Development Plans, as well as become more responsive towards citizens' needs.

Dear Sir/Madam, During corona my friends from village side were saying they are so happy they can study from home as every thing is online. No need for costly hostel, expensive food, away from parents. They could comfortably live in less cost and study well and gain knowledge and skill. With internet we should move more and more things to rural areas. We need 100% Make in India connectivity. Foreign powers will take unfair advantage of systems and steal our info. It is very good our Govt is making 6G. Even in 1894 JC Bose made very advanced radios so we can do it. Now Govt has said in military equiptment there should be 100% Swadeshi code as foreign alternate channels can steal info and sabotage. This tech will be very useful of villages Best wishes and regards Manish

Problem statement - Panchayat project will be shifted from 1 geographical location to other in between project plan and approve process. Solution - Google map or any other map needs to be integrated once the engineer plan for the project laid down, there by the project closing time the image needs to be uploaded for the proof of completion. Why this is need of the hour - I experienced it yesterday, due to local political reasons panchayat approved check dam at place A and MLA(reasonably high power) went and laid foundation stone at place B with his group of men, without panchayat member. So technology needs larger place here to bring such transparency.
