The Government has reviewed the existing draft National Youth Policy, 2014 and prepared a new draft National Youth Policy (NYP). The draft NYP envisages a ten - year vision for youth development that India seeks to achieve by 2030. It is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and serves to 'unlock the potential of the youth to advance India'.

The draft NYP seek to catalyze widespread action on youth development across five priority areas viz. education; employment & entrepreneurship: youth leadership & development; health, fitness & sports; and social justice. Each priority area is underpinned by the principle of social inclusion keeping in view the interests of the marginalized sections.

The Department of Youth Affairs seek comments/views/suggestions on the draft NYP from all stakeholders.

Please refer to the policy document: Draft National Youth Policy (PDF 1.23 MB)

#Agniveers Sir, I am ex Navy, now I am working in corporate for last 15 years, my suggestion to Actively scheme is : 1. On completion of 4 yrs assignment with Defence, these people must be attached with corporate industry for 3 months as Industrial Training. 2. This should be done on stipend basis paid by the industry how presently doing for apprentices as per Apprentices ACT 1961 3. At present industry is engaging around 15% apprentices of their company strength, here please make provision addition of 10% for Agniveer scheme, industry must take 10% agniveers of their strength, by this industry will enjoy the benefits of Statuatory compliance like ESiC, PF etc, alike benefit being given to Apprentice scheme in the industry 4.on completion of 3 months, industry will absorb looked how presently being done by corporate for ITI, DET, GET etc scheme 5. Advantage is - government purpose is solved to maximum, industry benefited for CNN ompliance and individual is ready for industry.

Sir, GST for small online job recruiters should be reasonable . At present for Naukari app they are charged 18%GST which is quite high and pinching when youngsters life is full of struggles and uncertainties. High GST is not promoting their business but discouraging . Tax should be like Honey Bee Model , they don’t Loot Flowers but take just enough and in return help them propagate them by Pollination. Govt should think about it and slash it down at least to 10%.

The Draft National youth policy contains all salient features and the best vision of the future. I submit one suggestion with reference to para 3.20 of the Draft policy ibid. Regarding reintegration efforts in respect of drop -outs and out of school youth, the services of the retired teachers and retired GOVT SERVANTS may be drafted on voluntary honorary basis. This may be considered.

My honorable prime minister, I would like to draw your attention that your commitment for 2 crores of Rajgar and hence Youth facing the problem as you know after the Covid-19 pandemic every parts of country affected so many people are loosing the job/labour and the still fear spread into the masses. Can you do something in this era for unemployment issues? When know every years thousands of graduate students are wanderings without job ane other are for going preperation of Government exams. I would like to request that kindly feel the necessary back log and also create new employment for the youth. We also focus on education programs run by Government but as per my opinion it's not meet the industries standard. Theoretically speaking that it should be upto the employee oriented and must be focus on it. Post Graduate also meet the needs of Industrial or Company requirements. We know the population is one of the biggest issue of the country so educated the people about it. Also, interact

Dear honorable members, A transformative scheme like Agnipath for the defense forces could possibly look at the following aspects to make it a win-win situation for the youths as well as the country: 1. An education program along with training in the defense forces so that the forces and the industry get an educated agniveer with excellent skills training. 2. If the youths can pay for the education component and the forces can pay for the training then not only will the youths be job ready but will also bring tremendous value to the employers 3. The areas for education can be determined by the roles that the youth are expected to fill. 4. The parents and the youths would probably consider a dual program for skills and education as a tremendous opportunity to join the forces 5. Present day warfare & future generations of warfare are technology based hence having such training and education is crucial for homeland security. 6. Agniveers should be future ready
