The Government has reviewed the existing draft National Youth Policy, 2014 and prepared a new draft National Youth Policy (NYP). The draft NYP envisages a ten - year vision for youth development that India seeks to achieve by 2030. It is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and serves to 'unlock the potential of the youth to advance India'.

The draft NYP seek to catalyze widespread action on youth development across five priority areas viz. education; employment & entrepreneurship: youth leadership & development; health, fitness & sports; and social justice. Each priority area is underpinned by the principle of social inclusion keeping in view the interests of the marginalized sections.

The Department of Youth Affairs seek comments/views/suggestions on the draft NYP from all stakeholders.

Please refer to the policy document: Draft National Youth Policy (PDF 1.23 MB)

The last date to share your ideas and suggestions is 15th July, 2022.

Defence aspirants are protesting against Agniveer scheme as they have passed their defence exams and medicals 2 years ago and have not received their joining letter yet. They are afraid that Agniveer scheme makes their appointment needless and that their appointments might be cancelled due to this scheme. I recommend that these aspirants be given their joining letters. All these protests will completely stop after that is done.

Firstly NEP 2020 should be effectively implement in the country and also student should be confident enough to involve in skilling & sports (maths teacher should not come in the PT period and say that I will take additional class). Youths after passing 12th should engage as intern for 1 year in NGO(if they are interested can opt for Agniveer). After that instead of migration to different districts or states in search of job, Govt should Train them on self employment and a minimum amount of Rs 1,00,000 loan to be given which the repayment period starts after 2nd year of the business. During their high school prominence to be given to sports like Kho-kho, kabadi, hockey.

indian education system is excellent with best university & teachers. let's India the medical & engineering destination for foreign students. education with ethics will spread Hinduism worldwide. education can be more of spreading values of our epics & glorious indian history, deviation to sathvik life. the Britishers destroyed our history by their syllabus of English language. Congress made Hindu mild by not telling the truth, hiding the fact & glorifying Mughal Empire. we forgot great worrier who taught us art of war, tactical leadership, value of sanathana Dharma. importance of respecting women. doing Pooja, Devine power etc. our children has become headless human. indian go to abroad for studies & adjust & accept their lifestyle & specially women spoil whole generation. women & children should be protected by all means to save our parampara. because our values & culture lies with them. india be the education hub for world & recognised degree & respected worldwide, as human resource
