The objective behind this activity is to communicate with the citizens and engage their participation in the “Kisan Bhagidari Prathmikta Humaari” Campaign on the MyGov platform. This activity would give the voice and platform to the young blood/ progressive farmers & stakeholders etc. All the suggestions/opinions/would be evaluated by the IEC Advisory Committee and shortlisted ideas would be implemented with the approval of the competent authority. Participants can share their ideas in a small video or in writing.

Last date of submission is 30th May 2022

Apply glyphosate to kill weeds and for better field hygiene at dry field state. After glyphosate application, rinse the field for 2−3 days. Maintain water level up to 2−3 cm level for about 3−7 days or until it is moist enough and suitable for equipment to be used. Plough the field to incorporate stubbles and expedite decomposition. Flood the field. Keep it swamp for at least two weeks. Let the water drain naturally to allow volunteer seeds and weed seeds to germinate.

1) Plowing to "till" or dig-up, mix, and overturn the soil;  (2) Distressing to break the soil clods into smaller mass and incorporate plant residue,  (3) Leveling the surface.

Land preparation is important to make sure that the field is ready for planting. A well-assembled field controls weeds, recycles plant nutrients, and provides a soft soil mass for transplanting and a satisfactory soil surface for direct seeding.

plants can grow without soil, but they cannot grow without the necessities that soil provides. Plants need support, nutrients, protection from adverse temperatures, an even supply of moisture, and they need oxygen around the roots.

Nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium are the big three in fertilizer formulations. Plants require these three macronutrients to grow large and lush. Nitrogen promotes the growth of the foliage, while phosphorus and potassium support the growth of strong roots, stems, flowers and fruits.
