To address the growing concerns in the present Accreditation and Ranking systems of the Government of India had constituted a High-Level Committee. This Committee considered the introduction of strategic reforms consistent with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 and the need for adopting a simple, trust-based, objective and rationalized system for approval, accreditation and ranking of Higher Educational Institutions with a verifiable and secured centralised database through technology-driven modern systems. Methodologies for facilitating Ease of Doing Business for the stakeholders, duly facilitating students in making more informed choices for selection of institutions/ programmes were also considered by the Committee.

After a series of deliberations, a High-Level Committee has submitted its draft Report on ‘Transformative Reforms for Strengthening Periodic Assessment and Accreditation of All Higher Educational Institutions in India’ to the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

In light of this, MyGov, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, seeks feedback and suggestions from all the stakeholders for the finalisation of the report.

This report has now been placed in the public domain until 15th July 2023.

All these illegal activities & malpractices in institutions had to removed by education department in giving accreditation and ranking of Higher Educational Institutions. Malpractices in institutions are many similarly illegal activities. Malpractices are black money ,Money laundering, bribes , hawala , fake currency are reported & in reply institution will not know who give the fake notes to them or hawala money as lot of people are giving money as fees in lacs . So such cases had to be caught and punished as there is no proper auditing done on this hawala money as goverment officers & minister collect lot of party funds from colleges for license & other activities Iillegal activities like fake certificate , strikes , violences , ragging , fights , drugs & alcohol usage , sex racket condoms , cyber crime on women's & colleges , hacking , love jihad reported in Kerala states worries parens parent now send children abroad college than sending ito Kerala college

Respected Sir, I appreciate your reforms on today's higher education system. However, I think that promoting skill education on the root level is foremost important. Rather focusing only on bookish knowledge students should be able to enhance their skills. By doing so, they would be able to perform well tirelessly in their professional work.

Sir, Focusing more on the practical sections along with the theory part helps students achieve better and greater efficiency in their future endeavors. Skill development via hands-on training rather than virtual mode helps youth gain success in their life. Internship opportunities can increase the experience of an individual. Regular assessment of students contributes to a better understatement of their skills and knowledge. I also request the ministry to add practical sessions from class 7 onwards in the new education policy. Simple experiments should be included in their curriculum so that even students may able to engage in experiments.

Regularly audit should be conducted of higher education institutes to control corruption in scholarships and other grants and aid given by the central and state governments. A transparent, independent body should be setup at the state level to recruit teaching and non-teaching staff in colleges to avoid favouritism and corruption in recruitment. Evaluation of professors should be done to maintain the standard of education.

The ministry of education should monitor the implementation of the Mid Day Meal (MDM) scheme in all states to ensure that grain and other material provided for schools is properly utilised or not for students, or is there any malpractice or corruption in such a supply chain? Also, instructions should be given to district education officers to conduct regular inspections at every school to check their records and get feedback from students regarding the quality of food provided by the school under the MDM scheme. In Maharashtra, there are a number of schools having complaints regarding this, and an inspection is also done, and school administration is found guilty in such cases, but the shameless education department and official ignorance promote corruption in this scheme, which defeats the purpose of the scheme.     so I request to conduct inspections and inquiries of such institutes to revoke their grant given by the government

In the wake of the Teacher's Recruitment Scam in Maharashtra, I demand a detailed probe by the ED of former education minister Varsha Gaikwad , then additional chief secretary of the education department Vandana Krishna, and education Commissioner Vishal Solanki.

Assignment is not sufficient to assist the student. If we include the pratical work , that's can improve the students skills. Quize and presentation are the best option to assist the students.
