The role of institutions of higher education in societal development is becoming increasing significant. In recent years, higher education has isolated itself from the society and there is a need to re-establish and strengthen higher education’s close linkages with the society. How can Universities foster social responsibility and engage in community outreach programmes. Sharing some working examples would also be a useful input.

Hon'ble Prime Minister Ji ! We are doing research on Research Knowledge Management, and trying to design a Knowledge Management System Model for the Research Community. 1. To provide the facility for research scholar to share their expertise. 2. To make available the research knowledge in centralized form (university level/ state level / national level). 3. To avoid the duplication of research topic and lot more. 4. To improve the quality and global contribution of Indian Academic Research.

1. Practical applications must be added to theoretical knowledge in Higher Education. 2. Field programs, surveys, public/market interaction must be initiated & executed. 3. Higher Education must include techniques, practical solutions to daily life problems relative to a subject. 4. Technical learning must replace mugging(rattafication process) that is currently present from Primary to PhD level education system. 5. Main need is to advance the current education pattern & methodology.

Mother tongue as one of subjects is very important upto secondary education for children to improve their own mother tongue that helps them to learn other languages faster, better understanding, and analysing. So make monther tongue, mandatory as one subject in all states in all schools and also in kendriya vidyalayas based on which state it is located.

1. All higher educational institutions must include an activity that must consist helping or supporting the rural society or people who have lack of expertise. 2. Companies must mandate a 1 year initial training in the field(on ground training & interaction with general public). 3.Projects given to students receiving professional education must consist aims to support the Native Society. 4.Moral Science must be added as a mandatory subject in higher studies in order to keep connection with base.

Govt.Scholarship should be given to economical backward student of , All categories students instead of caste basis selection as many of them misusing .This can be helpful to remove castiesm completely & help to build Nation Strongly.
