To foster the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari' and to infuse more transparency into the budget making exercise, thereby having people as partners in the process of budget making, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2016-17.

Citizens are requested to submit their ideas and suggestions on the topics that are generally in the ambit of Budget proposals as presented in the Parliament each year.

Suggestions may be submitted either directly in the comments box or through attached PDF documents.

The last date for submissions of suggestions is 5th February 2016.

Any transaction should be done via PAN card only for anything> 10k, this will ensure all black money is eliminated. Income tax should be simplified and pensioners to not have any IT returns if living on pensions. salaried has lot of exemption like Car, medical, conveyance etc, this should all be clubbed in 80ccc and made a higher bracket. let people choose what / where they want to invest... Digitalization should be encouraged for all forms...

Dear sir, Hmare country ki prob h ki hum apna kam achhe se nahi krte..aur ye hume voter id card banane k samay bhi dikkat hoti h.vaha baithe operator apna kam jaldi krne k chakkar m sahi dhang se ni krte h.hmesa mistake hoti h.aur uske karan source aur time dono ka loss hota h. M janna chahta hu iske liye hum kab tak operator ki galti maff kare. Vo galtiyo k upr galti kr rhe h.

Dear Sir, Today medical expenses of individual family is an average 50K/annum.. Requesting you to please raise this current limit of tax exemption from 15000 to at least 25000..
