To foster the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari' and to infuse more transparency into the budget making exercise, thereby having people as partners in the process of budget making, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2016-17.

Citizens are requested to submit their ideas and suggestions on the topics that are generally in the ambit of Budget proposals as presented in the Parliament each year.

Suggestions may be submitted either directly in the comments box or through attached PDF documents.

The last date for submissions of suggestions is 5th February 2016.

To encourage the use of biomass & agricultural wastes (which can not be used a fodder) in the generation of Thermal energy (like Steam & heat) by the industries, they should be given incentive like "Renewable energy certificate" as in case of Power generation form Biomass. This will not only boost the rural income, employment and will also reduce pollution. Thermal energy generated form Biomass including the agricultural waste should be exempted from all central government levies & duties.

Individual income tax slab to be revised. Up to 5 lakhs no tax. > 5 lakhs 10%. > 10 lakhs 20%. >15 lakhs 30%. No SERVICE TAX to be levied on Life Insurance policies.it is a social security measure. It's savings is an old age provision. Both are Govt's responsibilities. Helps you to build a secure nation. Encourage it. Measures to be taken to bring the Petrol/Diesel/cooking gas price down in line with the international price.

1. We should have one window tax for all the possible taxation in applicable in the system, enhancing the tax collection and reducing tax burden on salaried class. 2. Term Policy to be mandated for every individual just like car insurance is done and to be part of traffic documents while checking, this way long term money will also be received by the Government for investments and families will also not suffer where accidents take place on roads

All Shop Act link to PAN and if any shop act individual not mention into ITR issue the notice, give exemption releted expenses for 1st year for registration of Shop act.

All bank Accounts of individual link with PAN and link to IT Return u/s 143 if any individual not mention any account details into his return then issue notice.

Presently the process for procurement of any item in Govt office is very tedious and requires too much man hours. If any thing goes wrong in the procurement, the procuring officer is held responsible. Hence the officer always remain in fear. I suggest that a website be developed specially for Government procurement just like FLIPKART from where Govt offices can make purchase. This will reduce all the processes to a large extent and a lot of public money may also be saved due to good competition

INTEREST EARN UPTO RS 100000 ON BANK DEPOSIT OF SENIOR CITIZENS OVER 60 SHOULD BE TAX FREE.SENIOR CITIZENS ALWAYS PREFER SAFE HAVEN LIKE BANK DEPOSITS.
