To foster the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari' and to infuse more transparency into the budget making exercise, thereby having people as partners in the process of budget making, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2016-17.

Citizens are requested to submit their ideas and suggestions on the topics that are generally in the ambit of Budget proposals as presented in the Parliament each year.

Suggestions may be submitted either directly in the comments box or through attached PDF documents.

The last date for submissions of suggestions is 5th February 2016.

Honorable PM sir and FM sir may consider usage of BSNL unlimited fixed Broad Band connection for home users in the remote placesby allowing the same in their USB wireless modemso that they can use it when they are away home but in the country.

Like the campaign for LED lights. People sholud be encouraged to use water purifiers with zero water wastage. Loads of litres are being wasted in purification systems..

Dear Prime Minister I sincerely feel that there should be a common software for all the financial transactions and it should be developed and mentioned by the RBI instead of every bank having its own soft ware

Impose small diesel levy of Rs 1 per liter to contribute to an exclusive fund that is 80% used to provides incentives for purchase of CNG vehicles & 20% used for incentives for purchase of Electric Vehicles. As current vehicle ownership of India is largely diesel based, it will quickly create a fillip to CNGs & EVs which constitute fraction of vehicle ownership. Over time the levy may need to be increased, expanded to petrol & may be upto 5 times higher in cities depending on pollution levels

Our Tax System is creating burden for salaried middle class whereas wealthy is left untouched.Monthly take home of salaried class is well documented without any consideration for various expenses towards education and other loans.But,be it, working class or business men, there is no proof of their income and hence tax evasion happens.When expenses of salaried class is given due consideration,automatically tax payable by working class/business men can be properly captured in the system

TAX THE EXPENDITURE AND NOT THE INCOME The root cause of Inflation is the unnecessary expenditure one indulge in. It again compels for corruption which again generates Black Money which in turn causes Inflation. Generally, bad things are Taxed and not the good things. As Income is a good thing and Expenditure is a bad thing, therefore we should tax the "Expenditure" and not the "Income". As educations institutions were run as business these days. Impose service tax to educational institutions that collect fees more than government fees and obtains donations/ capitation fee and fee for other services like yoga class, martial arts, swimming etc... from the students' parents. Kindly regulate to make education a non profit service rather than a lucrative business.
