Hello Sir, Please consider increasing 80C limit from 1.5 Lac to 2 Lac at the earliest. Also, increase medical bills for tax exemption from 15000 to 25000 as the medical expenditure has gone up significantly. Thanks, Penchal

#Union Budget- Gold monetization scheme Dear Mr.Finance Minister, Tax exemption for gold monetization scheme to be considered to be more attractive for bringing out of idle gold held at bank lockers/home. This exemption should be over and above of 1.50 lakhes and lock in period to be 5 years at maximum investment of 30 grams of gold or Rs 50,000 whichever is higher. This scheme will be definitely helpful to government to reduce Forex outgo.

Please include dependent parent-in-law in the dependent list. In India, many parent-in-law are dependent to their daughter-in-law or son-in-laws, but they are not getting benefit of tax saving under section 80D for medical treatment of their parent-in-laws in old age. Especially in Indian culture, every parent is dependent to their daughter-in-law also. Please extent the benefit to at least working women.

Increase budget for Healthcare and education and set mission mode timeline for the infrastructure development to provide better healthcare and education. Increase Tax Exemption limit by savings. Curb Tax leakages. Register Retail shops in towns and audit regularly. Plan and implement pro-poor people Yojnas and work on them vigorously. It's high time poor people come into mainstream of development agenda of the government and then hope o ensure next term's people mandate.
