the sector as no job security with us and no income certainty. In these situations a cut of 14.50% is so huge that we have to cut down our needs and to kill some of our children’s dreams of buying a new bicycle or even purchasing a new school bag sometimes as Modi ji have decided to fund the deficit out of our needs. I hereby request you to reconsider your decision as we are facing a rough faze of the market now and nurture this fraternity in a healthy manner with a new zeal.

Respected Sir,my suggestion is about imposition of service tax on mutual funds agents.Logically this service tax is the liability of Assets managing cos.but we the small agents who work hard to mobilise funds and create awareness among masses to save & invest their money in right asset class. We earn very little fee against our hard work.Kindly abolish this service tax for agents as was before in previous govt.Sir this is our only source of income.Kindly look into this and make us feel good.

Why we people are being penalized by Govt. just because we are not organized or we were the soft target. Sir/Ma’am, we work very hard to earn our living and have to face different market scenarios, ups and downs of equity markets, different economic conditions and other geopolitical reasons and policies and still have to convince our client to invest in the mutual fund for a long term or hold their investment for a longer term and then we earn so little that sometimes think upon to change

from the manufacturer to the hands of end user and in the same manner they are getting commission based on amount of sale like we are. Further Mandi Aarthiyas are also providing the service and getting commission and not paying service tax. In each and every sector there are people who are providing services to the end user by transferring goods or directly services like we are and other insurance and small saving agents but we are being treated differently.

broking intermediaries or any other sector intermediaries like in FMCG Dealers / Consumer Durable Dealers or Mandi Aarthiyas are not paying the service tax. The user of services like Life Insured or the owner of the vehicle is paying in all other cases. One can take a plea that in FMCG / Consumer Durable Dealers are dealing in one or another kind of Goods and not services so S.Tax. is not applicable to them and there my point is that they are also providing the service of transferring of goods

Respected Sir/Ma'am, I belong to Mutual Fund IFA Fraternity and wish to submit few facts for your kind consideration. Firstly the service tax imposed on us was not the correct move. I know the CAD is a matter of serious concern but to cover this deficit we would not be punished. Service tax is usually paid by the user of services and not by the intermediaries involved in the sector due to which all the Insurance intermediaries (Life and general), Small Saving Agents , Stock
