To foster the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari' and to infuse more transparency into the budget making exercise, thereby having people as partners in the process of budget making, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2016-17.

Citizens are requested to submit their ideas and suggestions on the topics that are generally in the ambit of Budget proposals as presented in the Parliament each year.

Suggestions may be submitted either directly in the comments box or through attached PDF documents.

The last date for submissions of suggestions is 5th February 2016.

माननीय हिंदुस्तान के प्रिय वित्तमंत्री जी, कृपया एक सामान्य नागरिक के सुझाव को महत्त्व देते हुए आनंदनगर, घुघली वाया महाराजगंज उत्तर-प्रदेश की स्वीकृत नई रेल लाईन को पूर्ण बजट देनें का कष्ट करें। यहाँ की सम्पूर्ण जनता आपको कोटि-कोटि आभार ब्यक्त करेगी।

Sir kindly exempt foreign LTC from income tax. Incease Income tax exemption limit for individuals to 3.5 lacs. Kindly review allowances tax free limit.

Respected PM SIR Namaskar, The tax calculations is very complex in our INDIA. The previous government was able to locate only employees who were paying tax. Now at present Doctors, businessmen and advocates are not paying tax properly. Enhance standard deduction upto 3 lacs and 80c investment to 4 lacs Rs. Increase home interest deduction to 4 lacs Rs.

Respected Prime Minister and Cabinet Colleagues. Happy Republic Day .Some of my suggestions : 1) Enhance tax rebate for ceiling for savings to Rs 2,50,000/- 2) A common portal in Income Tax website linking investment instruments which are eligible for tax rebate so that individuals can directly access the link and make their investment for claiming tax rebate. 3)Allowing withdrawal from provident fund made easy with little procedures with a cap on no of times and ceiling on amount.

Respected Modi sir, Parents of Handicapped Children are worried what will be the fate of their children after their death. Please think of an exhaustive Social Security scheme for the handicapped people. The present 80DD and 80 U limit deserves to be increased. At present 80DD will be given to the parents for their dependent Handicapped Children. Please provide incentives to Employers who employ Handicapped persons.

Dear Narendra Modi ji, Thanks for your leadership. I support your leadership and vision. Because during the campaign I remember you promising that Government will not be running businesses, can you work towards shutting down or selling all businesses which are government owned? Subsidizing loss making businesses or losing the opportunity cost of selling profit making businesses at the expense of poor or tax payers of India, is a betrayal of trust placed in this government.

Any fund being used from our taxes to keep sinking companies afloat should be stopped immediately... Heard that government is spending too much on air India.. If its true ..then please stop it asap and use it for eradicating malnutrition and health problems in our nation

Swacch bharath is an awesome initiative ...and now with the cess being collected ..we should be having a huge amount.. Strict and quick usage of that fund should be done to clean India overall.
